This score highlights how features once exclusive to expedition packs are cross pollinating into lightweight trail packs. The bottom scorer was the Gregory, which serves well, but was just outshone by the other packs. The stitching is stout, we have medium weight webbing reinforcement top and bottom on both ends of the hammock end caps that are also sewn into the hammock body and then the ridgeline is connected with 4 load bearing bartacks, then we also added a safety connection on the ridgeline that is bartacked to the hammock body casing (5 layers of fabric). And best of all, the Osprey packs in these extras while also maintaining its weight advantage against the other packs. In our research most loading in the ridgeline usually winds up around ~100lbs pending several different variables. The tensionlock we're using can handle 65kg of loading prior to slipping, so it is also capable of handling the loading at the ridgeline. The 20mm ribbon is actually very strong and will have no problem handling the load as we are using it.
